Jonathan Best has been playing music in coliseums, circus tents, storefront churches, theatres, shelters, mobster parties, festivals, on the savanna, street corners, and subway platforms with rockstars, actors, homemakers, painters, clowns, and musicians all over the world since he was fourteen. In 2013 he founded comMUSIKey a non-profit dedicated to building community through all inclusive participatory music predicated on the belief that all bodies are musical bodies designed from the ground up to connect.
Keaton Snyder is very grateful for the opportunity to do the work that he loves.
Delisa Myles, M.F.A., is a performer, choreographer and educator with a passion for bridging dance as performance with dance as a healing art. She was central in creating the Performing Arts Program at Prescott College and was a professor there from 1994-2016. Her choreography has been repeatedly funded by Arizona Commission on the Arts and supported by artist residencies at Arcosanti and PLAYA. Delisa’s solo and group work delves into connections between the natural environment, feminine archetypes and ancestral and mythological story. She and her husband are stewards of Delicious Earth Farm, a one-acre urban farm in Prescott, Arizona where the fertile terrain of growing food, creating community and making art entwines.

“Blood on the Ivories” is a genre-defying theatrical experience that blurs the line between play, musical, and collective ritual, inviting audiences to confront the complexities of trauma, genius, and healing.
This play contains talk of suicide and sexual abuse.
